In January 2025, The Download launched on Kerrang! Radio. A partnership with Live Nation, Kerrang! Radio and Download Festival, hosted by Alex Baker, produced by Hope Lynes, Saturdays 5-7pm.

Since August 2024, Hope has supported her team on Kerrang! Radio and Planet Rock by providing production support, building, seguing and timing-out shows in RCS play out systems alongside editing audio in Audition. 

For the 2024 festival, I hosted the Monday night recap show and supported the production of this show pre-broadcast. During the festival, I supported my producer with the broadcast of our three-hour special from the festival on Friday night which I hosted from the site using OB equipment. 

Hope Lynes explores how the Riot Grrrl movement has inspired alternative female artists and translated into an inclusive resurgence that embraces all identities. Featuring interviews with modern-day Riot Grrrl artists, music industry professionals, and organisations with a Riot Grrrl ethos, this programme considers what the movement looks like today in both alternative rock music and the wider music community. 

Hope Lynes brings us the biggest rock party of the year at Download Festival. Interviews with snayx, crawlers, as december falls, witch fever, bob vylan, kid kapichi, lake malice, deaf havana, rituals and crushed by wolves.

Born out of Newcastle's iconic alternative night out, Rise Fest took over Northumbria Students' Union for the first time this year, headlined by Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes. Hope Lynes went down to check it out... Featuring interviews with Vukovi, As December Falls and Kidpunk.

An audio documentary considering the power of community in the North East DJ scene. Hope Lynes explores the community in the North East DJ scene, speaking with residents of local community radio, grassroots music organisations, DJ collectives, and DIY music venues.

Hope Lynes sits down with Cassyette to discuss her new 'Sad Girl Mixtape', exploring what a 'Sad Girl' is in this new generation of alt-rock emo/goth genres, the community of her fanbase, the current rise of alt women on the scene, and her experimentation of sounds ranging all the way to screamo vocals.
